[00:00:00] Speaker A: The breakthrough edge. I'm Dr. Raquel. And now Media Television. Welcome to Be the Breakthrough Edge. I'm Dr. Raquel, and today's conversation is one I know you're going to resonate deeply with.
Because behind healing journeys, health transformations and emotional breakthroughs, there is often a story of struggle that people rarely see.
A story of emotional pain, disappointment, self doubt, exhaustion, and the quiet moments where people wonder if things will ever truly change.
Joining me today is Brandy Cummings, AIP certified coach, emotional wellness advocate, and transformational coach.
What I appreciate about Brandy's story is that her work was not only born simply from education or certifications, it was born from lived experience experienced from navigating emotional hardship, health struggles, infertility challenges, weight loss, and the emotional process of rebuilding her relationship with herself from the inside out.
And I think so many people today are carrying similar silent battles emotionally while trying to appear fine externally.
Today, I want to explore Brandi's personal journey, the emotional breakthroughs that changed her life, and how those experiences ultimately led her into the work she does today helping others heal emotionally and physically.
Brandi, welcome to be the Breakthrough Edge.
[00:01:33] Speaker B: Hey, Raquel, good morning. So excited to be here.
[00:01:37] Speaker A: I'm so excited to have you. So, Brandi, take us back to the beginning. What first led you into this healing and wellness journey?
[00:01:45] Speaker B: Perhaps personally, it first started in 2015 when I had a very debilitating about two years of my life where I was suffering with chronic mold exposure and mold illness, and that was also contributing to infertility.
And so also around that time is when I opened up my practice. So there was just so much going on. And that's ultimately where it started.
And then after I started opening my practice and helping people overcoming chronic illness and environmental illnesses, I realized that my work wasn't done and I had a lot more work to do.
And I was finally able to connect the dots about how some pretty severe past trauma that I endured when I was a child who was impacting really every area of my life, but especially my health, because I didn't feel safe and I hadn't felt safe for decades.
[00:02:51] Speaker A: Yes, I remember you talking about that, not feeling safe, that when we were asked, you know, to find your safe spot, you had no safe spot. And that is something that people need to realize that if they don't have that safe spot, they need to start figuring out how to create it. Or what would you say, suggest that they do for that?
[00:03:09] Speaker B: Yeah, well, if we think about the body in fight or flight response, parasympathetic versus sympathetic, the Body heals when it's in a parasympathetic state, when it feels safe to do so. But if the body thinks that there's a bear, whether obviously not a real bear. I mean, maybe if that's your lifestyle, but if the body thinks that there's a bear, it's not going to heal, it's not going to sleep well, it's not going to recover, it's not going to reproduce.
And so being able to take whatever is driving that feeling of unsafety or danger in the body and lift that blueprint off of the body, that's what's ultimately going to allow the body and the cells on a cellular and subcellular level to actually feel safe again so that it can get back to a state of balance.
[00:04:00] Speaker A: I 100% agree.
So what were some of the emotional struggles you were carrying during that season of your life?
[00:04:09] Speaker B: Yeah, so at that time, I really connected a lot of dots between how what I had experienced as a child was impacting all areas of my life. So I had about 50 pounds of emotional inflammation that I was carrying around on my body. I was a lot.
That's a lot. I was very swollen, as I mentioned, especially when I was overcoming all of the mold. There was struggles staying pregnant, and I had issues starting my family.
But it also impacted other areas of my life that at the time, I was unaware and unconscious of, such as my relationships, my romantic relationships, also my platonic relationships and my friendships. How I showed up in the world, how I presented myself. I was so out of rapport and out of integrity with my own body that I wasn't showing up authentically, really, in any area of life. You know, it impacted my. My clients and how I practice. And so really, that was like the missing link to living so much more authentically and in alignment with. With my true self and the things that I actually want to accomplish in the way that I want to serve while I'm on this planet.
[00:05:30] Speaker A: Oh, I love that. That is so true. And you have been a huge mover and shaker ever since you released a lot of this emotional baggage. I want to kind of go back to the infertility that you were dealing with. So would you kind of tell us about your infertility and conception journey impact how that impacted you emotionally, spiritually, physically?
[00:05:52] Speaker B: Yeah, it's so funny. It's like when we're teenagers, we're just programmed that it's super easy to get pregnant, Right? No.
[00:05:58] Speaker A: Right.
[00:06:00] Speaker B: And so when it was time to start my family, I thought it was going to be no big deal, but it wasn't. And I suffered loss during that time.
I was not supported from the medical community or given any answers.
And I was told that it was just in my head and all the tests were fine, and there was nothing that they can do, and it was just unexplained infertility, and I didn't have any answers. I realized I finally made the connection that a lot of it had to do with the mold exposure and also not feeling safe.
And like I said, that's not when the body wants to reproduce. And so I wanted nothing more than to be a mom and to feel like there was something wrong with my body. You know, humans are designed to reproduce. And I was. I was young and healthy, and I couldn't. I couldn't figure it out. So I felt a sense of feeling broken, like there was something wrong with me, like, what if this never happens?
So it was a time. It was a very dark and sad time for me.
Just the unknowing of it all.
[00:07:14] Speaker A: Yeah. I mean, I hear so many people have the stories of the infertility and what it does to them emotionally and physically, and how it just breaks them down and how they just feel like there's something wrong with them, there's something broken, but that is just a hard time. So what were some of the biggest emotional breakthroughs you experienced during that time? What had to shift for you in order for you to actually conceive and give birth? You gave birth to two children?
[00:07:38] Speaker B: Yeah, yeah. I have two beautiful little girls now. And so the biggest thing. We're on the physical plane, on a physical level, supporting my body's natural detoxification pathways. Like I mentioned, I had exposure to really toxic mold from a building that I was working in. And so getting out of that environment and then allowing.
Supporting my body's own natural detoxification pathways to make sure that I was eliminating all of that.
Because that toxic burden, when that toxic burden is really heavy, our liver and our bile and our cells and our brain and our mitochondria and our organs, like, it has to go through this process of detoxification. And when the toxic burden, the total body burden, the total toxic load is high, then things can become stagnant and not be working as effectively. So really supporting my own detoxification pathways and drainage pathways, and then from an emotional standpoint, on thinking more on a mental, emotional, energetic, spiritual plane, I really had to release limiting beliefs that I had about what was possible for my body, what was possible for my life, visualizing you know, what that was going to look like, feel like, sound like, to be a mom and step into that version of myself instead of accepting what my current 3D environment seemed to be showing me is that I wasn't going to be a mom. And so the process of releasing all of that and knowing that, you know, we're the creators and the observer of our life and we get to make a new decision at any time, which is easier said than done when you're really in the, in the thick of something like that.
[00:09:31] Speaker A: Oh, that's so true. So true.
At what point did you realize your pain was becoming part of your purpose?
[00:09:41] Speaker B: When I really started implementing all of the tools and modalities and way that I work with people, with my clients and seeing these results reproduced in them.
And I got to a point where I was incredibly grateful for all of the hard times, for all of the trauma, for all of the difficulty, for all of the dark souls of the night, for all of the times I stayed up all night bawling my eyes out. Now I get to, to transmute and alchemize all of that and push that into my clients so that they can overcome the same type of struggles and finally get to a place where they realize that what they want is a possibility for them too. And that has been the greatest gift.
[00:10:32] Speaker A: That is an amazing gift. And I love how I even made a comment about, like, just being grateful, because I feel like grateful is like a huge part of us releasing what is difficult in our lives.
How did your health weight loss journey affect your confidence and self worth real quick?
[00:10:52] Speaker B: Well, I, when I went through this process over the next six months afterwards, I released about 50 pounds of emotional inflammation. And so you can imagine how much that impacted my physical health, my mental health, my confidence, how I show up in the world, my ability to be authentic and allow others to feel that higher positive vibration and absorb that into their own life.
[00:11:20] Speaker A: Awesome. What I appreciate about this conversation is that it reminds people healing journeys are rarely only physical. They are emotional.
And often the deepest transformations happen internally, long before they're visible externally. And when we come back, I want to go deeper into emotional eating, inflammation, nervous system stress, and emotional patterns so many women silently carry every day.
We'll be right back with more insights to help you break through barriers and move forward with confidence. And we're back. I'm Dr. Raquel, and this is Be the Breakthrough Edge on Now Media Television. Let's continue.

Welcome back to Be the Breakthrough Edge. I'm here with Brandi Cummings and today we're talking about the emotional side of healing. Because for so many, so many people, stress, trauma, emotional exhaustion, and self worth struggles eventually begin affecting the body physically.
And often people don't realize how deeply emotions can affect inflammation, weight gain, energy, hormones, confidence, and overall wellness.
What I appreciate about Brandi's story is that she understands this journey personally, not just professionally.
Brandy, how did emotional stress begin affecting your health physically?
[00:13:05] Speaker B: The biggest impact that.
Well, the most obvious one was the weight gain that I experienced. It was the type of weight gain where, you know, I'm only five two, I'm like five one and a half.
And so it doesn't take much for it to be obvious when my body is carrying extra weight and I had 50 pounds of extra weight that I was carrying.
[00:13:31] Speaker A: That's a lot for a small frame.
[00:13:33] Speaker B: Yes. And I was so swollen and you could see it in my collarbone and in my face and in my ankles. And I was just, you could see how uncomfortable I was just in my own body and in the world.
And so that was the biggest physical symptom that showed up for me. And it was the type of weight loss where it didn't matter what I did. You know, it didn't matter how I ate or how much I exercised or it just seemed like no matter what I did, nothing was touching it or moving the needle.
[00:14:09] Speaker A: No, usually it just goes upwards the wrong way. I know so many women struggle with that. I mean, it's like we hit what, 30, 30, 40 or something like that. And it's like all of a sudden it's like, oh, we want to lose weight and nope, the body says we're going to gain weight. It's frustrating, isn't it?
[00:14:21] Speaker B: Yeah, it really is.
[00:14:23] Speaker A: So what role did emotional healing play in your weight loss journey?
[00:14:28] Speaker B: Oh my gosh. It was like it was almost instantaneous, you know, the second that I really went through the process of lifting that blueprint of all of this unresolved trauma that I was carrying, carrying with me all of these unresolved negative emotions, these patterns and behaviors and belief systems that I had about myself that were holding me back and keeping me looping in undesirable patterns. As soon as I lifted that blueprint off of my body and my body actually felt safe for the first time in over 31 years released everything. And that's how it works. You know, when we don't feel safe, the body hangs on to all of that, what I call emotional inflammation, and trying to keep the body safe and trying to protect the body from the external world. And as soon as I overcame all of that in the first.
In the first 60 days, I had lost about 25 pounds. And then in the. In the following four months after that, it was an additional 30 pounds. That really was the most effortless weight loss I had ever experienced. I really didn't change how I was eating. I wasn't taking a bunch of supplements. I was moving my body more and putting on muscle. But it was incredible how it happened.
[00:16:00] Speaker A: That gave me goosebumps. That is just like so amazing because I know so many women struggle with that emotional heavy weight because they're so busy doing everything for everybody else that they just kind of shut themselves down and just keep going.
So why do so many women feel emotionally disconnected from their bodies?
[00:16:19] Speaker B: It's a multifactorial issue. I think part of it is just the environment that we live in. We have toxins all around us. We have a lot of pressure on us as women. We just are expected to, or we have a desire to just keep it all together, maybe repress and reject emotions that are trying to come up and we're just not wanting to feel them because we just got to keep going. We got to keep raising our children. We have to show up to work. We have a huge amount of mental load that is really draining our bandwidth that we have. And so all of these things put together really create a situation where our nervous system is dysregulated, we're overburdened, likely have heavy toxic load on the body.
And if we don't feel safe, if there's any kind of inner child work to be doing or trauma that we experienced as a child that contributes our food. You know, if we're not eating nutritious food, if we're eating ultra processed foods, that impacts it. So we have all of these things coming at us. And if we're just trying to grin and bear it and, and work harder, faster, better, stronger, longer, and just grind it out and push through it, eventually the body has something to say about that and will continue to try to get your attention and tell you, hey, we need help here. And it will continue to turn up the volume on that message until you start paying attention.
[00:17:50] Speaker A: I totally, 100% agree. And it's not easy for women to Ask for help.
It's been a conversation I've been hearing a lot lately. Women are just, they're not meant to ask for help. They just want that they have that burden on them. They don't mean to, but they do.
So what would you suggest, what would you tell the woman today that's like putting all that pressure on themselves? And just like, how, how would you suggest that they kind of start shifting their patterns?
[00:18:19] Speaker B: Well, two things come to mind right away. Number one, what you mentioned about asking for help, number we all bear the burden of a villageless mother. You know, this isn't how we used to raise kids. We used to raise kids where we were living in multi generational villages where we had the wisdom from the elders and kids of all ages were supporting each other and it was much, much different. And now, even though we have all of this divi, all of these devices and technology meant to keep us connected, from my perspective, we're more disconnected than ever.
Disconnected from community and from our purpose and from nature and from each other.
And so getting grounded, getting connected, having a sense of community, getting into nature, all of that, you will be amazed at how far that will take you. And then the second thing is to be so aware, to become so aware of the language that you're using. What are the thoughts when you first wake up in the morning? Is it, oh my gosh, I can't believe I have to do this and this and this and I got to take the kids here and I got to get the car wash and these appointments and I got to, you know, do all of these things and I hate this co worker and I'm fighting with my husband. What are the thoughts that you're having when you first wake up? How are you talking about yourself and what's possible for you? And when we start to bring awareness to that, we can shift it so that we start expressing gratitude and focusing on the things that we want instead of calling in more things that we don't want to just by the language around it.
[00:19:53] Speaker A: That is so true. So like with the language, like if we have the women and people here watching, what would you say? Like, what would you give, like maybe like an affirmation or some kind of mantra or something that can break that loop? Do you have like anything that like breaks the loop and helps shift them around? Is there something that we can do in that regards? I mean, I would love for you to share your beautiful insights because you've had such emotional changes and I know the people out there, they want what you have?
[00:20:19] Speaker B: Yeah.
One of the prime directives of the unconscious mind is that it doesn't process a negative. So if we're constantly focused, focusing on how we don't want to be overweight, we don't want to be in pain, we don't want to have brain fog, we don't want to be in debt, whatever it is, those are the things we're going to call in more of. And so shift your language to focus on what you want and imagine yourself as the version of yourself that already has it, because that version of yourself also exists. Another prime directive is that the unconscious mind already has a blueprint of perfect health and healing. And so saying things like, I am so grateful that everything is always working out for me. I am so grateful that I have the tools and the resources to overcome anything that comes my way.
I am. And so those I am type of statements and then threading gratitude into them helps us to get into that state and that frequency. Because words have frequency and vibration to them. When we tap into those higher frequency words and emotions and state, the results that we have in our 3D environment have no choice but to recalibrate to be in alignment with that higher frequency.
[00:21:35] Speaker A: Yes. So some people trying to figure out how to say this. So some people have like these I ams, but then they don't always believe it. So how do we soften the I am so that they can actually allow it to come into their body and actually do that shifting for them? Because some people think if I just say I am this, they don't believe it. So therefore they're creating more lack in their life. So if they say they want something, they need something, they're telling the universe, hey, I have a lack of this.
So how do we help them shift that so that they can actually call it into their life?
[00:22:10] Speaker B: Couple things. I think it's okay to break down your affirmations. If you say like, oh, I am a millionaire, and that feels really out of reach. Break it down, right? So maybe like, I am open to expected and unexpected ways that money can come my way. Or in the area of health, be like, I am open to the experience. Experience of xyz, whatever it is that you want to experience.
So coming from a place of openness and curiosity versus coming from a place of perhaps more definitive identity, if that feels a little bit disingenuous or out of reach at the moment.
[00:22:49] Speaker A: Right. And I know right now that, like, when you say there's identity, there's a lot of identity shifts. We've had so many people believe in different things with the astrology, but so, so many shifts and changes have been changing, and we have a lot of different planets coming in which is creating, like, if you feel like there's a shift in you that needs to happen, you're right on target. And this is exactly the conversation you're having. So do you want to tell us a little bit more about, like, what does it feel like to actually have a whole new identity? Can you actually, you know what? When we come back from our break, let's go back into that. Does that sound like a plan? Okay, so this conversation is such a powerful reminder that the body often carries emotional pain when long before people fully recognize it. And when we return, I want to talk about identity, motherhood, self worth, and what it means to rebuild confidence after difficult seasons emotionally and physically.
We'll be right back with more insights to help you break through barriers and move forward with confidence. And we're back. I'm Dr. Raquel, and this is be the breakthrough Edge on Now Media Television. Let's continue.
[00:23:52] Speaker B: Continue.
[00:23:52] Speaker A: Hi, I'm Dr. Raquel, and today I'm speaking with Brandi Cummings about emotional healing, motherhood, identity, self worth, and what happens when women begin reconnecting with themselves after difficult seasons, emotionally and physically.
Because for many women, life experiences can quietly reshape the way they see themselves. And after years of stress, emotional pain, infertility struggles, body image issues, or burnout, many women lose connection with their confidence entirely.
So, Brandi, how did your personal journey reshape the way you viewed yourself emotionally?
[00:24:32] Speaker B: This is such a good question because I, my whole life, essentially the past over 30 years of it, I was constantly showing up in the world in a way that was inauthentic. And as I mentioned earlier, I was really out of rapport with myself and with my own body.
And that was because I had very strong protector parts of me that were trying to keep me safe. And so I had very strong heart walls up. It was very hard for me to build meaningful connections and relationships with friends and also with romantic partners.
And I, you know the saying that hurt people, hurt people, and I really resonate with that, which is not something that I'm proud of looking back, but I was so scared of truly being seen and being hurt again. And so I had these, these behaviors and these patterns in this way that I would show up in the world, these masks that I would wear and, and trying to kind of posture myself and present myself as a way that seemed more acceptable, even though it wasn't necessarily true or authentic. And so being able to step into a version of myself that is in alignment, that is in flow, that is authentic, has been really the biggest weight off of my shoulders because it's exhausting to kind of constantly feel like you're putting on a front or putting on a show. And so to be authentic is a huge change that I can't even. I don't even have the words to describe how incredible that feels in my body.
[00:26:25] Speaker A: It feels so freeing, doesn't it? I've had that same thing kind of happen. Just like I don't need to people please anymore. It's like, you don't need to. People don't want you to be somebody for them. They actually want you just to be your authentic self so they can actually be a part of your life. Right, Exactly. So what role did motherhood play in your healing process?
[00:26:47] Speaker B: Oh, boy. This is a big. This is a big one, right? Because my.
Because my.
A lot of my trauma happened when I was a child, and it bec. And once I started connecting the dots between how that traumatic experience impacted all areas of my life, how I made money, how I grew my business, the relationships that I had, how the progress I was able to make in my health, once I connected those dots, it became so important and more clear than ever that my top priority was making sure that I am breaking this cycle and that it stops with me and doesn't get passed on. Because what we know is that these traumatic experiences can shift the DNA and those changes can be passed down through epigenetics into the DNA. And I wanted to make sure that that no longer happened in my lineage because when I look at my family tree, it's riddled with trauma. There's generations and generations of traumatic experiences that have happened and that have impacted the results in my family's life. And that's been one of the most empowering parts of this healing journey, is realizing that I can take that power back, reclaim that power, break the cycle so that my children and their and generations going forward no longer have to carry that burden.
[00:28:17] Speaker A: I think that's so huge because I felt that same way, like even releasing my own. You know, whether if it's little trauma or big trauma, it doesn't matter. Little T. Big T. It's still trauma. Things that get stored in your body through generations or whatever, you know, that can be coming down depending on people's beliefs and what they believe in, but it still gets stored in your DNA. It gets transported down. So when they say it's genetics. Sometimes it's not genetics as much as it's an emotional genetic part.
Why, why do you feel so many women struggle with the self worth after emotional hardship?
[00:28:50] Speaker B: Well, we can have different parts of us that are born after experiencing significant emotional events. So like you mentioned, people pleasing. We can have this strong people pleasing part, we can have a strong protector part, we can have a strong caretaker part. Right. This is the person that's like, oh, I'm just going to make sure everybody else is taken care of and put myself on the back burner. We can have a self saboteur that's born. So we can have all of these parts that can create a lot of fragmentation in the body or conflict in the body. All, all of our parts have a positive intention behind them.
But if they are not integrated and aligned into the whole and the body's not moving forward towards their highest and best as one integrated unit, there's all of these fragmented parts. It makes things very difficult. And for women, the patterns I see is like we talked about a lot of people pleasing, a lot of taking care of everybody else, a lot of, you know, embarking on this new project or this new weight loss journey or this new protocol or something, getting so far and then looping and repeating the old patterns because at some level it feels unsafe to step into that new version. It's more comfortable, we don't want it, but it is known. And so therefore it feels more safe to stay in that state where in that undesirable state, just because it's known and feels safer on some level.
And so I think that women are carrying an incredible burden when it comes to that. There's an incredible amount of generational trauma, childhood trauma, unresolved negative emotions, expectations. It's a challenging world we're living in. We don't have a village. And all of these things, all of these unresolved negative emotions, all of this trauma, it goes somewhere. We can try to repress and reject it all we want, but it goes somewhere. It goes into the fascia, into the tissues, into the cells and will present itself in the physiology.
[00:30:55] Speaker A: So with this being coming out with like the traumas and the different parts that have been holding us back or the parts that are in an alignment, what would you say would be one thing that you would suggest? One or two things that they could at least start right now to help maybe either integrate their parts or maybe even just recognizing their parts, maybe having a conversation, what would you suggest that they people do to start this transformational piece that they could start doing.
[00:31:21] Speaker B: Awareness is the first step. So many of us are walking around unconscious. And unaware of why we have the thoughts, the emotions, the feelings, the behaviors. The results that we do in our life. And when we can really kind of zoom out.
And when we can sit in the observer seat. Where we can just watch our thoughts, watch our body versus identifying with that version of ourselves.
What we can do then is we can bring awareness to it. And when we have awareness. You know, in, in quantum physics.
Things don't exist until they're observed. And so when we can sit in that observer seat. Separate ourselves from our thoughts and from our body. Now all of a sudden, we have. We can reclaim our power. And we can choose which thoughts we want to push energy into. We can have a negative thought. And if we can zoom out enough to notice it. And just kind of let it float by. And make the conscious decision not to push energy into that thought.
Now we're in a state of conscious creation and observation and awareness. Where we're now choosing and curating the reality that we want to experience.
Based on how we want to feel at any given moment. And which thoughts we want to push energy into. So the first step is just to get aware of that. Get aware of your language, get aware of your thoughts. Get in rapport with your body. How are you feeling right now? Name it, say it out loud. And start to reconnect with this avatar. This human body that you're using. To have this human experience with.
[00:33:09] Speaker A: Oh, I love that. That is so perfect. And I know a lot of people are going to get so much help with that.
What helped you begin rebuilding your confidence internally. After, you know, the emotional weight loss. And the physical transformation. What was the internal confidence building piece that you needed or that you grew?
[00:33:32] Speaker B: Well, feeling safe in my body and comfortable in my skin is huge.
And being able to use that and show up in the world as the authentic version of myself.
Allowing myself the freedom to show the parts of myself that I never would have before. Because I wanted to make sure everybody liked me. Or I was concerned about what they would think. Think, you know, And. And I have a very fun, goofy, playful side of me. That likes to dance. That likes to be silly. That likes to experience new things. That likes to.
Even with food, you know, I. I love to experience new food and new cultures. And I was. I had a lot of internal conflict around that. And what people would think if they actually got to know the real me.
And so just allowing myself to tap into that which is my highest self. Right that's the capital S self or self that's truly in alignment. Tapping into that version of myself allows me to attract the people in my life who love that version of myself. Because, like I mentioned, everything has frequency and vibration to it. So the things that are also vibrating at that frequency come into my life. And that brings such a state of gratitude and fulfillment that I never had before.
And the people who don't resonate, they fall away. And that's a gift, too. And I love them unconditionally as well and no longer take that personally.
[00:35:15] Speaker A: What I love about this conversation is that it reminds women they are not defined by their hardest seasons. Healing is possible.
Confidence can be rebuilt and emotional freedom becomes possible when women stop fighting themselves internally. When we come back, I want to close this conversation by helping viewers understand what sustainable healing and emotional resilience can actually look like moving forward. We'll be right back with more insights to help you break through barriers and move forward with confidence. And we're back. I'm Dr. Raquel, and this is Be the Breakthrough Edge on Now Media Television. Let's continue. Welcome back to Be the Breakthrough Edge. I'm closing today's conversation with Brandy Cummings. And what I hope viewers are beginning to realize is this.
Some of the most powerful healing journeys begin in the middle of heartbreak, frustration, emotional pain and exhaustion.
And often, like the experiences that once felt like they were breaking us apart, become the very things that eventually help us heal ourselves and others.
Brandi's story is such a powerful example of what can happen when someone chooses to turn pain into purpose.
So, Brandi, what does healing look like for you today? Emotionally, physically, and spiritually?
[00:36:40] Speaker B: Well, the. The healing journey, there's always more layers, right? There's always more we can do. And so I think that that's an important concept of settling into this is the human experience. And when we can get to a place where we realize that everything that has happened to us that we didn't love or that was traumatic or that was negative, was actually a gift. It was all happening for us. And when we can get into that place of even expressing of gratitude and being able to be neutral and steady on our feet and not be triggered by the things that come up, life becomes so much more rich and so much more fulfilled. And so I'm constantly peeling back the layers of that going, what's next? You know, what's next? And not from a place of, like, not being satisfied with where I am now. In the quantum field. In quantum physics, there is no future. And there is no past. There is and will forever only be the perpetual now. And so being as present as humanly possible in the now and getting the silver lining, the gold within, the garbage, the gift within every trigger or difficult situation is really what I feel makes life beautiful and exciting and worth living, you know, to its fullest capacity.
[00:38:07] Speaker A: Oh God, yes. And I love that you said that it was, this is happening for you.
So many people out there take the victim mentality and think it's happening to them. But when you do that one little shift and you realize, hey, this is happening for me, I'm learning something for this and this is going to take me to another step in my life's journey. And, and just like you say, like, we're always living in the now.
Absolutely. And when you just learn to just be present and then like you're just saying, I just asked for, what's the next step I need to do? And you just learn to listen and trust and take that step, that builds trust in yourself. Right.
So what practical steps can women begin taking if they feel emotionally overwhelmed or disconnected?
[00:38:53] Speaker B: So a couple things here. Number one, remember this goes back to a sense of safety. And so get curious. Like think about when did you decide that your body no longer feels safe? Were there things, significant emotional events that happened in your childhood? Are there chronic mediators and stressors in your life now? Or things that are creating a trauma response in the body now, Whether that's a really toxic or hard relationship that you're in or a really tough job that you're at, or if we have heavy exposure to toxic chemicals in our life, like what in our body is draining our life force energy and creating a sense where we don't feel safe? Just get curious about it, take some time to journal about it, see what comes up. Remember, awareness is the first step. Step. And then other than that, we, what I see, the pattern that I see is that women are constantly looking for answers outside of themselves, right? And we think, oh, if I could just, okay, I'm just going to follow this protocol or I'm going to do this detox, or I'm going to do this weight loss program, or I'm going to apply for this job and they're just sponsored, spinning their wheels, grinding, trying to find answers, trying to find that golden ticket outside of them.
And when we realize that everything that we need is actually inside of us. Remember earlier when I talked about how when we raise our, our internal state, our internal frequency, when we're tapped into those higher frequency emotions which do Have a vibration to them.
That is what gets pushed out into our reality. And when we can be in that state, our 3D reality has no choice but to recalibrate to be in alignment with that higher vibrational frequency.
And so remembering, it's so empowering when we can stop being in effect and we can start living at cause. Take radical responsibility for the results in our life. Recognize that everything is happening for us, not to us, and that everything that we need is already inside of us. Tapping into those higher frequency emotions and then being willing to do the work, to do the deeper subconscious, subconscious emotional, energetic work, where we are looking at the tough parts that maybe are uncomfortable to look at that we don't want to. The emotions that we've repressed and rejected over the past several decades.
Being willing to do the work to clear that out and to collapse the patterns and the loops that are keeping you stuck. That is when everything shifts.
[00:41:35] Speaker A: Oh, that is. Those are just golden nuggets. I just can't wait to go back and apply all this stuff to my own life. Right.
So how can women stop living with the emotional survival mode? I mean, where. What would you suggest they start doing? Or how can they find that safe place so that they can get out of survival mode? And the other thing that I heard you kind of mention is kind of like we have these to do lists. Like, if I do this, if I check this off, if I do this and I do this, like, how do we get out of that to do list so that we can actually just be present in our body to allow that healing to come forth?
[00:42:08] Speaker B: So this is the trap that women fall into. I call it the do have B trap. Right. Okay. If I just go do X, Y, Z, if I just go do this protocol, if I go do whatever, then I will have abc, then I will have more money, then I will have my health and I will have the love that I want, Whatever it is, once I have that, that will allow me to be fulfilled, to be loved, to be at peace, to feel safe. This do have be trap. That is a trap. It really needs to shift to a be do have.
[00:42:40] Speaker A: Oh, I love that.
[00:42:41] Speaker B: Instead of waiting till the end to give yourself what it is that you're looking for, don't fall into the do have be trap. And instead you do have. What is that state? What does that feel like when you get there? How can we send messages of safety to our subconscious mind so we can feel love and at peace and worthy and chosen and healthy and capable when we tap into those Emotions first and that identity and that frequency and that focus first. Then we go, then we can go do so then we can take inspired action, go do things. These actions are now going to be in alignment and then that will give us the results that we want in our life. And so switching from do have be to be do have really changes everything. And then continuing, like I said, to send messages of safety to the subconscious. So whether that's somatic movements, whether that's things like tapping, whether that's visualization, scripting, affirmations, journaling, breath work, meditation, getting in nature, being around people that you love, that you feel feel good around, dancing, a static dance, whatever it is that allows you to get into that B state, which is so on brand for your show.
[00:44:04] Speaker A: Right, exactly.
[00:44:05] Speaker B: Ultimately going to lead to the results in your life.
[00:44:08] Speaker A: Yeah, because I'm always about the be, you be true and be free. So when you come and you start being yourself, you can actually start being true to who you were meant to be, being authentically you. And then that allows you to be free in life. So again, it's that be, do have. So I love that. That was such a huge, huge thing.
What would, what have you personally learned about resilience through your journey
[00:44:34] Speaker B: across the board? I think we've lost a lot of resilience. I'm seeing more and more sensitivity in my practice than ever before. Sensitivity to supplements, sensitivity to light, sensitivity to food, sensitivity to chemicals. Like, we're just, we're so sensitive, we've lost a lot of our resilience. And so being able to interact with our world in a really strong, robust way where we're not knocked off our our feet or triggered or we're flaring physically is so, so important. And to build resilience, from my perspective, there's kind of three components we need to address. The emotional, subconscious, energetic, health. That is the iceberg under the surface. That is the 95% that is actually running the show. And if we're not addressing that, it's going to be really hard from my perspective, to get the results that we want in our life. Number two, fueling our physical body and avatar with things that are supportive in this physical world. That's lowering our toxic burden. That's eating foods that are good for us and then also feeding our body with things that increase our internal vibrational state. And that includes not surrounding ourselves with people who drain our energy, not tapping into media and shows that drain our energy.
Those types of things impact the subconscious mind, which is again, that 95% that's running the show. And so making the conscious effort to surround yourselves with things that elevate you, including the media you watch, the people you hang around with. And then I guess a fourth kind of bonus thing. We are so disconnected. So get reconnected. Reconnection will lead to higher resilience, and that's reconnecting to, like I said earlier, your purpose, your community, nature, all of that really, really matters.
[00:46:32] Speaker A: Oh, I couldn't. I agree so much, 100%.
What would you say directly to the woman watching right now who feels hopeless, exhausted, or disconnected from herself?
[00:46:44] Speaker B: Just because you haven't found answers yet doesn't mean that there are not answers. The things that you want to experience in your life are a possibility for you.
And like I said earlier, remember, all of the answers are already inside of you. Everything that's happened up until this point has all been for you. And we can make the conscious choice to harvest the gold out of every situation and to start living at cause. And I just want to empower women that they get to make that choice and that you don't have to settle for something that you don't love.
[00:47:22] Speaker A: That's. That's perfect. So, Brandi, for viewers who want to continue learning from you and connect with your work, where can they find you online?
